The Sumitomo SH145X-7 is a mid-sized, short-tail swing crawler excavator built for high performance in confined or urban environments, combining compact dimensions with strong digging capability. With an operating weight of around 14.8–15 tonnes, it features a 76.4 kW Isuzu diesel engine and a bucket capacity typically  0.55m³, delivering robust breakout forces and a maximum digging depth of roughly 5.1–6.0 m. Designed with Sumitomo’s advanced intelligent hydraulic system, it optimises power delivery for efficient, smooth operation while reducing fuel consumption and emissions. Its short-radius design improves manoeuvrability in tight spaces, while a durable undercarriage, high digging forces, and a comfortable, high-visibility cab make it well suited to demanding construction, infrastructure, and urban projects.
